- a wordless performance for the little ones.

The creature comes crawling and floating through the door and out onto the stage. Is it not human, nor animal – but perhaps a living puddle, a microorganism, a cloud, or an underwater creature from another planet? It changes shape, color and structure, leaves fringes and fibers, wobbles and vibrates, and transforms in time and in interaction with the music.

Through movement, costume and sound, the children are introduced to the mysterious creature, and its curious and somewhat helpless search for new friends. Around the creature, music is performed with synth, voice, saxophone and accordion by Heidi Kvelvane and Eva Pfitzenmaier.

The creature is created by Silje Sandodden Kise, and it is brought to life by choreographer and former dancer in Carte Blanche, Mathias Stoltenberg.

Co-produced by Kloden Theater.

Supported by the Arts Council of Norway, Scenekunstbruket , Bergen Municipality, Sound and Image Fund, Fund for Performing Artists, Bergen Dance Center.

Comments on the workshop:
The performance has a smooth transition to free play where children have the opportunity to explore materials and instruments used in the performance together with the performers on the floor. The length of the play time will vary depending on the number of children and interest. It is usually between 15 and 30 minutes.
