Reality is round.

Welcome to a dance performance for children between 1-2 years old and their adults, where two dancers and a musician create an imaginative space. They invite curiosity and interaction between the participants. Reality is round, and it allows us to meet in a new way. The performance is based on young children's unique ability to play freely and be curious about the world around them. With movement, light, sound and form, connections are created and how we can communicate without words.

We jump and rest in sounds, like rolling over a dark sea. The idea is that language cannot capture reality as it is, because words are angular, while reality is round. The audience becomes part of the experience, and the actors follow and adapt to what is happening. Each performance becomes unique, depending on what is happening in the room.

Room or area specifications:
We can play in several different kinds of rooms, everything from a play hall at a preschool to a black box. We have two different versions of the performance; one with simple lights for preschool and one with hanging lights for blackbox.
