Community and kinship between people, with nature and the earth we all share, these are the
the main themes in Vástádus eana/ The answer is land. The choreography is inspired by demonstrations, Sami spiritual practices and formation dance.

The polyphonic joik is the central element of the performance. It has been specially written for this performance by composer and professor of joik, Frode Fjellheim. Fjellheim shows the breadth of joik and a new way of working with polyphonic joik.

The show has two casts.
