"Beautiful Vasilissa" is a poetic and exciting story that is particularly suitable for preschoolers.The story is based on a Russian folk tale about the beautiful girl Vasilissa and her encounter with the terrible witch Baba Jaga.Vasilissa is sent off to fetch a needle and thread from a woman in the forest, but what she doesn't know is that this is the terrible witch Baba Jaga, who eats beautiful girls the way we eat chickens! But Baba Jaga hasn't counted on the magical doll given to Beautiful Vasilissa by her late mother to help her through the dangers.Stella Polaris has long experience of creating storytelling theatre productions based on the ancient traditions of this form of theatre mixed with modern storytelling techniques.
