Katinka, on the other hand, is skeptical about leaving her hometown. She's afraid of getting lost in the crowd in a big city. "In the big city, no one knows that she's the funny Katinka. In the village, everyone knows who she is, she's a household name. So why should she move? Why will life be so much better everywhere else? Why does the bar have to be so high and the demands so great?
