Ugress

This is a story about a golden collar flower with a chromosomal defect that makes him white when he should be yellow.

He's standing next to his best friend Gresstraw, dreaming of meeting another flower before the summer is over. A yellow gold collar sprouts, but she wants nothing to do with him because he is white, and the dandelion comes between them and threatens to ruin everything on the lawn.

The story is philosophical on a micro level; it's a love story between two flowers. When you're a small flower on a lawn and you're not supposed to be there, and the lawnmower is lurking dangerously close to the house wall, how should you spend the short time you have?

On stage, the actors are placed at a screen where the flowers and other things in the garden are drawn on them by projection.
