Until the evening of December 17, 2011, Mari lived in the belief that she was heterosexual and that she was just exceptionally slow when it came to becoming interested in boys.

That night, her subconscious worked as it never has before, and the next morning she woke up and wrote the following in her diary:
"Today I woke up with a clear feeling that I am gay. It's very strange."
Aha! Not only did she have an epiphany that she liked girls, it also felt like the last piece of the puzzle she didn't know was missing had been put in place and the world was in balance for the first time. The road ahead might have been very simple, but with Mari nothing is simple! Quite the opposite, in fact.

Treig is Mari Thingelstad's first solo performance. It is a performance that is both funny, touching and perhaps scientifically enlightening.
