A visually poetic and humorous theatre performance with a stylized physical language. The audience meets two women who are both engrossed in their personal visions for life and struggle with the fact that neither time nor themselves are enough to meet the challenges of everyday life. The work is based on everyday situations that are transformed into more abstract choreographies. TRANSIT is mostly about the lives and problems of adults, but also ironizes their priorities and shows vulnerability, dreams and longings. The dramatic quality lies first and foremost in the physical images that the bodies create together, or individually. TRANSIT is a purely physical theater performance directed by French Yves Marc. Marc trained with Etienne Decroux, the founder of Corporeal Mime.

Comments to the workshop:
Teater Polkadot offers a workshop in physical and visual theater. The workshop is mainly designed for students in the drama program at upper secondary level. Through simple improvisations, the actors want to give the students a practical introduction to physical theater and how they can create material through improvisation. The students are physically active in the workshop, so they need training clothes (no shoes, we work without footwear) The workshop lasts from 2-4 hours, depending on the wishes and needs of the teacher/class.
