What is it like to be held and lifted when you are blind? What is it like to dance for an audience you can't see? How do you connect with someone who can't see?

She dances even though she can't see the floor beneath her or the performers around her. This is a dance performance for a blind performer and four dancers. The performance is a meeting between two worlds, the sighted and the blind, an attempt to find a common dance language, where touch replaces sight.

Conversation with the audience: After the performance, blind dancer Hege Finnset Eidseter will initiate a conversation with the students about her experience as a participant in a professional production. She will give the students the opportunity to reflect on inclusion, and will show them that being visually impaired can also be a resource."Touched" is the Norwegian contribution to the EU project FRAGILE (2011 -2013), about the inclusion of visually impaired people in dance productions. FRAGILE was initiated by Kjersti Kramm Engebrigtsen and led by Bærum Kulturhus-Regional Competence Center for Dance.

Kjersti Kramm Engebrigtsen received the Dance Critics Award 2012 / 2013 for the project FRAGILE.
