Tobias and the day it all went wrong
Rimfrost Theater Ensemble
A lot of people call Tobias Cecilie. In fact, almost everyone calls him that. Not even mom and dad know that Cecilie is Tobias. And that's not surprising, because he has a girl's body on the outside, but inside he's a boy. Tobias is the best name he knows and together with his invisible dinosaur friend Konrad, Tobias can be himself; the world's best dinosaur expert!
His best friend Pauline is really the only one who knows who Tobias is. She tries to help, but still Tobias feels like when the meteor crashed into the earth and all the dinosaurs died. What will happen if everyone finds out who he really is?
Tobias og dagen det slalt is a performance about identity, dinosaurs and friendship. The performance is based on conversations with children and adults about gender identity. Through a mix of fantasy and reality, the performance develops knowledge and insight: there are many ways to be human.
Forestillinge received the Hedda Award 2018 for best children's performance!
