The power of Glesbygd

Tomas Eriksson is an artist with a background from the art academy in Trondheim and is the driving force behind the HÅKKI chain together with Mats Stenslet and Bjørn Kowalski.A few years ago he worked on collecting "skrönor, bullshit and true stories" in a project called "Berättarboden". With The Power of Glesbygd, Tomas Eriksson gives us more uncensored stories and thoughts from rural Sweden. The stories are served up in the form of good old-fashioned oral storytelling, a kind of rural stand-up, spiced up with some film and sound. We find that we easily identify with the stories. It doesn't really matter whether you're from Brattvåg, Indre Sogn or Svorkmo. There's a robber in most of us.
