The Happy Place is a dance theater performance about happiness and the absence of happiness. The dance language is energetic, spastic and fumbling in a stage space framed by helium balloons and live video projection. The performance integrates texts written by Endre Ruset and Mette Karlsvik and the dancers sing skewed karaoke versions of old hits. The Happy Place is a play that is funny and sad at the same time and that both entertains and touches.
