Meet the boy who has to tell stories to stay alive.A young man with a short haircut and a tattoo tells about a strange journey he went on. He visits a water park and in the middle of the big water slide he is drawn like Alice in Wonderland into another world. In this world, the boy commits a simple crime. He is caught red-handed, which leads to him being captured by the king's guards. The meek king and his highly erratic guard want to punish the boy severely for what he has done. But the boy, just like Sheherazade in the Arabian folk tale One Thousand and One Nights, begins to tell tales. Yes, he tells stories for life. Tatoveringen is humorous and relaxed storytelling theatre without external trappings, where well-known stories from Asbjørnsen and Moe and Æsop's fables are included in a lively mix of fairy tales in close and lively interaction with the audience. With a twinkle in her eye, the actor brings to life a varied gallery of characters - as well as a particularly voracious dog. Teater Avvik has made a shortened and simplified version of "The Tattoo" suitable for audiences aged 4 - 6 years, duration 25 min.Produced with support from Grenland Friteater, Porsgrunn Kommune, Telemark Fylkeskommune and Spenn.no.
