SPACE ME
Inclusive Dance Company
Lets you join a dance performance or scenic installation about the body interacting with the physical laws of space.
The universe operates according to physical laws, laws that the body also depends on and interacts with. SPACE ME focuses on the body in space.
SPACE ME can be understood as a scenic installation with dance, where scenography, video scenography and music function as spatial and bodily components together with the dancers.
We find ourselves on a body-imaginative plane where the starry sky can be stretched, enlarged and twisted with the help of the dancers' bodies. The audience travels through the performance sitting in a planetarium-like, purpose-built amphitheater.
SPACE ME was created by Inclusive Dance Company in co-production with Cirka Teater and Teaterhuset Avant Garden the spring of 2012.
