What has happened to the sisters 11 years after the last performance?

In 2003, the production "Sisters" was created and toured the country to an audience of more than 25,000. This is the sequel to the poignant and deeply personal story of Anne Katrine and Liv Haugen's mother, her seven sisters and brother.

Now the Haugen sisters' mother has died, and the other siblings are marked by old age. Who are they, and what is their relationship like now, 11 years later? What has the confrontation with death done to them?

A desire to once again meet these colorful ladies on film, along with a desire to put the spotlight on aging, loss and death - as a challenging but nonetheless natural part of life, means that the Haugen sisters now wanted to portray the next chapter of sisterhood and close relationships, in their own family.
