There it is, a black sheep. Is he angry? He seems lonely.

He seems mischievous. Maybe he's mischievous because the others exclude him. In his loneliness, he's hiding a secret.

Through simple toys and geometric shapes, the flock of sheep and their uniformity are visualized. We meet a black sheep living in his own world, playing with unusual friends and trying to understand what is normal. He struggles to be accepted as he is.

The performance asks the question of diversity, and a willingness to belong to a group while maintaining one's identity. One's identity is an added value that should be loved and preserved.

The award-winning Italian production Black Sheep (La Pecora Nera) is the result of a creative project with kindergarten and primary school children from 2011.

Teatrodistinto creates performances that can be understood by everyone - without words, the story is staged, emotions and morals are conveyed through gestures and actions.
