What does a sound sound like when you discover it for the first time?
How does it feel when your body starts moving without you even having control over it?

Meet two dancers who discover the world through listening, wonder and discovery. By using movement and rhythmic sounds to capture children's attention, children are invited to listen carefully, both to the sounds they make with their bodies and what occurs in the space. Through movements and powerful rhythms, they explore different ways of communicating through sound and movement, and take the children on an exploration of their own movements. The dancers inspire the children here to move and dance with them.

Sans is a dance performance developed especially for children, where movement and curiosity are the main focus. The goal is to awaken the children's senses and challenge their creativity. Together we dive into an energetic and analog adventure filled with wonder and presence.

Piero and Ole Petter have traveled to Kabul several times to work with children and artists, including together with Den Nasjonale Scene to participate in the reconstruction of the National Theater in Kabul (NTK). During these stays in Afghanistan, the idea for -SANS- a performance for children without the use of electricity or other technical aids arose.
