Rusty Nails and Other Heroes

Rusty Nails & Other Heroes is a wordless, poetic performance in which worthless objects picked up from street corners and rescued from the gutter are transformed into actors.

The performance is a live-action animation where you see the movie and its production at the same time. An old cardboard box becomes a desert. A rusty saw becomes the sea. Maple tree seeds become little birds and old work gloves become an endless swamp.

There is no text, but an enchanting soundtrack that draws the audience into the story. This is a blend of theater, visual art and animation that shows that objects found on the street can have unexpected talents. 

The performance is a real recharge for the imagination, so don't forget to bring it with you!

Rusty Nails and Other Heroes can be performed for adults as well as children. The performance comes in three different formats, 35, 50 and 70 minutes respectively. Please contact us for information about the three versions, or see the attached document in KSYS.
