Rosa Elefanter
Les Elephants Roses
Three people are locked up in a madhouse. Their only dream is to regain their freedom, but the keys to the exit gate are guarded by an authoritarian, psychopathic psychiatrist. We follow the three freedom fighters in a burlesque and tragicomic adventure. Mime is the basic means of expression, but the performance also includes elements of mask play, puppetry and text. The performers are technically very skilled and create tableaux and scenes with a strong expression. "Pink Elephants" is the mime company Les Elephants Roses' first production. It was awarded the audience and jury PINOCCIO prize at the International Mime Festival in Belgium in 2003 and the Prix Jeunes Talents 2004, a prize awarded each year to young companies based in Paris.
