One summer when Rino visits his grandmother, he receives a treasure map as a birthday present. The map shows the way to many places in his grandmother's house, down in the basement, behind the stairs and up in the dark attic. Eventually, it ends up in Grandpa's old travel chest, where Rino finds a beautiful little flute. But Grandma is asleep at noon, so Rino strolls out into the woods to try the flute, sits down under the big oak tree, puts the flute to his mouth and blows. At first it sounds pretty bad, but eventually the notes roll out of the little instrument. Suddenly, a wizard stands in front of Rino! He says: "Now you've played the five magic notes. Therefore, you are the master of the flute and get three wishes granted!" But when you can get three magical wishes granted, you might want to think twice. And when you think about it, it's a good idea to go for a long walk, and in the forest behind grandma's house, the strangest things can happen...The performance is based on Anne Regine Kayser's beautiful musical adventure. The story is performed with characters, music, humor and the joy of storytelling.
