Poy!
Opera Omnia
Henriette lives with a cellist who works far too much. The cellist rehearses and rehearses all the time, and she's basically fed up with music. Henriette, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. She loves music and silence.actor (voice/clarinet) and electronics full of surprises, different moods and generous joy of communication without the use of words! She collects tones, strong and weak sounds from which she makes music. The cellist thinks Henriette is lazy, and she doesn't like the fact that Henriette can lie for hours on her favorite cushion, with her head full of notes that grow into great music. In the performance PoY! we meet Henriette in a dream where the cellist is transformed into a bunch of stiff and staring cello dolls. In the dream, Henriette understands how she can use everything she has accumulated for something good. The performance is divided into two parts. Part 1 is a realistic workshop where the audience are participants in the action. The cellist concentrates on his notes, practicing and practicing. Henriette, with the help of large and small musicians in the audience, teases the cellist with various gestures and sounds. Part 2 is a dream sequence. Henriette plays in an imaginative and beautiful geometric landscape that appeals to the audience's visual sense and imagination.Poy! is a musical dream for the little ones, written by Glenn Erik Haugland and Heidi Tronsmo, based on a story by Ståle Tråsdahl.
