A poetic and tender puppet show based on Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairy tale.

The Girl with the Sulfur Sticks is a puppet show, directed by Elina Putkinen.

The production is based on HC Andersen's story about a girl fighting against fate in a world of darkness. To help her, she has a strong imagination, the will to survive and a matchbox inherited from her grandmother.

The performance makes use of live fire, live music and puppets brought to life by four puppeteers.
