Ooujeeih!

Ooujeeih! a dance concert for the very youngOoujeeih! is inspired by the very youngest children's movement material and their ability to respond to movement and sound. With this as a starting point, it has become a visual and sensual performance with a naive, cartoon-like expression.The composer uses pre-processed children's voices and live voice improvisation. The musician and dancers respond to each other there and then to preserve the spontaneous expression. The dancers each have their own character who, during the performance, create their own world with the help of long, colorful foam rubber hoses that they shape and connect into different figures. In this idiosyncratic world, the dancers relate to a material that is both firm and soft at the same time, which they can sneak around, crawl through and hide behind.After the performance, both children and adults are welcome to explore the space.
