One night stand

Is a journey through different stages of a man-woman relationship, with the role play between the sexes as the driving force. The production is based on British Harold Pinter's play "The Lover".

Morten and Anna meet in a nightclub and are drawn into a love affair. Absurd but recognizable situations are woven together into a story with a predictable outcome. Expectations and role patterns are revealed and commented on. Inspired by the pop art aesthetic of the 1960s, the production creates a new and unique expression of strict psychological realism, choreographed dance, stand-up comedy and rhythmic, repetitive action sequences. The humor is always present, like a sometimes transparent veneer over a great vulnerability. Musically, "One night stand" ranges from superficial pop and drum & bass to Gavin Bryars? symphonic contemporary compositions.
