Om bare Lyseblå kunne bli superhelt
Katja Brita Lindeberg Produksjoner
Imagine if you could have been a superhero in a superhero world, far away. Invincible, someone who never gave up, someone no one could be mean to.
Would you then have been the kind of boy you should be?
"If I don't bully others, I'll be bullied myself - I don't want to be hit and bullied anymore, mom." (boy 6 years old)
Light blue is a scared boy, but no one knows that. He often stands alone in the schoolyard. He's not allowed to join in when the other boys play football, because he's too weak. Instead, he destroys things. He's noisy in class and bothers the other kids. It's better than being bullied himself. He doesn't dare talk to his teachers, and his mum and dad just get upset.
Deep down, Lyseblå dreams of being a superhero so that his teachers and the other kids can see that he can do something too and isn't just a wimp in the universe.
Stage artist Katja Brita Lindeberg redefined the pink girl universe for us in the audience-winning children's performance "If only Rosa could do magic". This time, she turns her attention to the expectations with which we meet little boys, in all their superhero focus and sports star worship.
What are the rules of the game, and what happens to those who can't play along? What makes someone fall through the cracks? What makes the clown Light Blue fail at being a boy?
