Absence
Sometimes it feels like time is passing too quickly. One day, the break group Absence suddenly wakes up, and time has run away from them. They're in an old people's home.
When they realize that they have aged, they refuse to accept it. Even though their bodies aren't what they once were, the six breakers in Absence take up the fight against time and the caregivers at the senior center. Oldschool is a performance about life's joys and transience that puts life into perspective.
With the help of breaking, humor and a good dose of thigh-breaking acrobatics, Bergen-based Absence shows that growing old doesn't have to be boring at all. Absence has a knack for conveying energy, joy, a message and a vision in a popular and not least fun way. Get swept up in the dance, join in and turn the world upside down!
