The Bible's story of the great flood is the setting for this performance. But despite the dramatic starting point, this is a warm and funny story. We meet Naomi - Noah's granddaughter. She is a wise and bright little girl who can do something not many others can - talk to the animals. This comes in handy, as she helps to look after all the animals that flock to the Ark from far and wide. The animals become her friends and playmates, because the adults are so busy building the big boat! But Naomi's loyalty and conscience are put to the test when the hawk kills the pigeon pair and she has to take responsibility for the three eggs in the nest. How can she follow Grandfather Noah's edict that only one female and one male of each species should be aboard the Ark, without having to leave one of the eggs behind when the water comes?
