Once upon a time, there was a girl in Austria called Sheherazad. She had a rare gift; she could tell stories so that people couldn't help but listen.
She told him, with her life on the line, that if she couldn't keep the king's interest, he would kill her. Shehezerad's stories saved her life, and they saved the king. The Storytelling Factory performs 7 stories from 1001 nights: The King's Brother and the Faithless Wife, The Street Fairy, A Dream, The Thief and the Fool, Abu Hassan's Feather, How He Kafu Became Even, How He Simbad Became Rich.
Workshops
Gunnar Horn holds a workshop in storytelling techniques, as well as the structure and performance of a theater production. He will also discuss fairy tales as a phenomenon and the role of the storyteller. Participants will work with different techniques on how to remember and perform stories. The performance "Night Stories from the East" will be used as a working demonstration and the workshop will be held after the screening. Price: 400,- per hour, number of hours according to the school's own wishes.
