In this performance, three art forms meet: dance, music and visual art. Three choreographers and a composer have been inspired by the works of Edvard Munch: "The Sun", "Young Woman on the Beach", "Detachment", "Melancholy", "Starry Night" and "Galloping Horse". The language of dance and music ranges from neoclassical to modern, and three dimensions create a different art experience for young people. In addition to the actual experience there and then, the group wants to inspire young people to really see the images and use their own imagination; the moment is not just a moment - it has a prehistory and an aftermath. Even though it's 100 years since Edvard Munch created these works, they have a topicality today. They are simply about emotions - or as Munch himself said: "There should no longer be painted interiors and people reading and people knitting. It should be living people who breathe and feel and suffer and love!" The paintings will be unveiled during the performance and the stage space will be transformed into a gallery, accessible to the students after the performance.
