This is the story of daring in a distant and difficult time. About impossible choices that require the utmost fearlessness. And about a young man who must risk his life to find his brothers. It's also about horseback riding, traveling and a princess who's tired of being just that: a sweet, adorable girl. She's bored with the troll and tired of "brave men" trying to save her. Join Mulegutten's exciting journey, packed with humor and magic.

Mulegutten is a dramatization of Øyvind Torseter's book of the same title. The book is based on the fairy tale The Rice Who Had No Heart, which is recreated in Øyvind Torseter's highly visual universe with the mixed creature Mulegutten as a replacement for Askeladden.

A co-production between Nordland Theatre and Teater Joker.
