The production MIRAMARMORA is based on a true story about an orphanage child from a far eastern European country. The main inspiration for the production's environment and mood has been Andre Bjerke's optimistic fantasy world in his famous "Moro verse". Miramarmora In a town by a lake there is a building. This building has many rooms and many windows. And in one of the rooms with a window facing the garden sits a boy. He is all alone This is not an apartment This is not a hotel This is not a library This is not a shopping center This is an orphanage Very soon someone will come and take him to a better place than this. But he doesn't know that. Not yet, anyway. Our young hero Peter survives the orphanage because he dreams himself out and away from the orphanage. How can imagination become a bridge to hope before you know what hope is? Using live music, storytelling and humor, NIE takes you into a playful landscape between reality and fantasy.
