Maria & José

A show about courage and love, about what is big and what is small. José lives in Maria's ear. He loves her. Maria doesn't quite know who she loves, but she loves him too, and maybe that's enough? José does everything he can to make Maria feel good. He makes sure everything works and that Maria doesn't get sick. He says nice things to her and plays the cello. But then everything changes. The production Maria & José is based on Erlend Loe and Kim Hiortøy's book of the same name. The story is Loe's, our own and perhaps everyone's. It is told with text, movement. And fine animations. The production is produced in collaboration with Østfold Theater, with support from Arts Council Norway, Kunstløftet, Spenn.no, Fond For Frilansere and Fond For Utøvende Kunstnere.
