LOOP
Christine Nypan
Join us for a sensual performance where body, rhythm and sound merge together.
Through movement, the performers create rhythms and vibrations that are captured, looped and processed live on stage. In this way, a pulsating soundscape grows from the bodies themselves. Bodies tremble, listen, fall and rise. Movement becomes sound, and sound becomes new movement.
Small vibrations and movements grow into a living soundscape that is shaped and processed live on stage.
The performance grows out of acoustic sounds in the room and from the bodies themselves. Through looping, filtering and manipulation with music technology, layers of sound are built up. Gradually, the distinction between performers and audience is erased, and we become a listening mass – present in the same rhythm, as co-creators of the performance.
