Lavaskogen - Scenekunstbruket

Mysterious creatures grow out of the floor. They have crooked backs, tentacles and beaks. They creep and crawl and spin and shimmy. Do they come from another planet?

Lavaskogen is a sensuous performance where three dancers move in a pile of colorful textiles. The audience sits on four sides of the stage and is close to the action. The dancers take shape as different beings and move both their own bodies and the textile scenography in ways that create associations with several different landscapes and environments.

In Lavaskogen, the focus is on giving children a sensory experience that can stimulate a desire for their own exploratory movement.
