Kollaps / Everything Falls Apart
Stiftelsen NIE Teater
A dark story about everyday life and fear. The performance is a dive into some of the many stories that never make the front page of the newspaper.
Two boys are smuggled through Europe in search of a better life. At the end of the journey, in the London Underground, all hope ends when they meet a man who is convinced that there is a higher justice. For a brief moment, the trafficking victims sit in the same subway car as the suicide bomber, before the bomb goes off.
For a few seconds, they are all convinced that they have never been closer to paradise.
The performance is supported by Arts Council Norway, The Arts Council of England and is a co-production with Kanonhallen in Oslo and The Lyric Hammersmith Studios in London.
WINNER OF THE GOLD SACK 2011 FOR BEST PRODUCTION!
