Actress Nina Ossavy grew up at Kameratklubben, a Christian home for drug addicts. As an adult, she hits a wall and ends up in hospital, perhaps because she's always been a "good girl"? She goes back to Kameratklubben to search for the causes of her workaholism, and meets Rune Jensen, a former addict who lives there today. All of Rune's comrades have died of substance abuse, but he found faith, hope and love, and that's why he's alive today. In addition, to his own and everyone else's surprise, Rune is soon to become a father. Are there similarities between Nina's story and Rune's? Is it about not giving up? With energy and gallows humor, Ossavy tells the story of an unexpected friendship and of vitality, hopelessness and survival. A realistic performance that mixes theater, lectures and documentaries."Coming to terms with childhood can be as difficult as quitting drugs." Karin Olson.Kameratklubben is supported by Arts Council Norway, FFUK, Fond For Lyd og Bilde and Den Kulturelle Skolesekken.
