The year is 1872 and eccentric scientist Phileas Fogg sets out on an adventure to win a bet: Along with his companion Passepartout, he will travel around the world in just 80 days. Along the way, they must overcome a series of obstacles that put their friendship to the test. The mysterious detective Fix, who is convinced that she is on the trail of a criminal, follows close behind. Will the two friends make it back to London in time?

Around the World in 80 Days is considered a classic by many, but for most children and young people today the story is completely unknown. Jules Vernes' novel from the late 1800s is a colorful and imaginative adventure, and in Feil Teater's version, it has become a physical and entertaining performance that charmingly plays with the musical theater genre and the original story. Using music and simple scenographic elements, the actors take the audience on a dramatic journey across several continents - right from their seats in the theater.

The production is supported by: Spenn, SALT, Norwegian Actors' Equity Association, Bergesen Foundation, City of Oslo and Arts Council Norway.
