Two women are stuck in a nursing home landscape. They are on duty, at work. They have little time, while time stands still.

They try to remember who likes four slices of cucumber on their liver pate, and who only drinks rosehip tea, the red packet. They look at wrinkled skin, dandruff and toenails that curl like snail shells. They look at themselves. They look at the other. And the smell. That smell. It never goes away.

In the theatrical performance "sometimes I forget you're human", Teater Hysteria explores the intersection between routines and humanity, and what can happen when we forget that people are human. The performance is newly written and is based on interviews, research and their own experiences as employees in nursing homes.

Teater Hysteria is a newly established theater company that produces performing arts with a focus on telling stories from a female perspective. The company works with newly written drama and is curious about collective, co-creative processes.
