Four women, many stories and a large mirror. It's the little stories that are told, the everyday things that are so important, yet invisible, when the big story is being written.
The stories are personal stories from women related to, or with close ties to, the performers in the show. These intimate yet universal stories are told by women from different generations through both the soundscape and the dancers on stage.
Panta Rei Dance Theater collaborates with British composer Nathaniel Reed, who creates melodious and evocative music. I wish her well is intricate with acrobatic elements, a lot of contact work and a high tempo. A performance that moves and engages.
