I Vesterled- en reise i havet

A stuck lighthouse keeper. Two lost fishermen. A living secret in the depths of the sea. They have all been forgotten, but when a group of children seek them out, their memories return. "I Vesterled" is an interactive adventure for children aged 8-11 that takes place in the borderland between three art forms. As an audience member, you get to use all your senses. Based on the old Greenlandic legend of Sedna, the mother of the sea, the audience is taken on a journey of discovery on, above and below the surface of the water. The performance takes the form of a walking theater that is linked together by the Faroese composer Jens L. Thomsen's distinctive music.

"In Vesterled" is a walking theater developed in collaboration between dance artists Annika Ostwald and Ida Uvaas, actress Hilde Bjerkeskaug and storyteller Torgrim Mellum Stene.
