I morgen var jeg alltid en løve- monolog for tre kvinner
Løveprosjektet
The true, strong and gripping story of psychologist and author Arnhild Lauveng, dramatized by Anne-Karen Hytten. The production is based on Arnhild Lauveng's autobiographical book "Tomorrow I was always a lion". The book was published in 2005 and was described as perhaps the year's most powerful travelogue from the inner landscape of schizophrenia.
Lauveng was admitted to psychiatric institutions with a diagnosis of chronic schizophrenia from the age of 17 to 27. She is now free of symptoms and medication and works as a psychologist, author and lecturer. Her courageous story is also highly recognizable. It is about our ability to transform. About the need for respect, care and trust. About hope.
"I used to live my days as a sheep while everything in me longed to chase across the savannahs. And I allowed myself to be driven from pen to pen to barn when they said that was what was best for a sheep. And I knew it was wrong. And I knew it wouldn't last forever. I used to live my days as a sheep but tomorrow I was always a lion." Arnhild Lauveng
The following actors alternate in the roles: Ulla M. Broch, Anne E. Kokkin, Tiril Pharo, Marte Stolp, Ida Holten Worsøe and Kjærsti Odden Skjeldal.
