Huset Gran Nabo

A beautiful, thoughtful, energetic and playful dance performance with five strong dancers and intense new music.

"Ja vi elsker du gamla du fria" - the house GranNabo is located between Norway and Sweden. The house holds curiosity, love and uncertainty.

We take an oblique view of neighborliness in all senses of the word. For us, it's a love story, but also so much more. 

The hurt, the strange and the beautiful emerge through the differences and portray a colorful and different neighborhood. Welcome to the neighborhood!

The production is a co-production with Teater Innlandet and Regionteater Väst.

Workshops

FOR STUDENTS:

45 min: Creative dance - a 'teaser'. A taste of what contemporary dance offers. Here students will get a dynamic introduction to modern dance. 

90 min: Creative dance. The workshop is an extended version of the workshop presented above. 

135 min: Creative dance. This workshop is suitable for students with a special interest in performing arts. 

Several days: Production of a show together with the students.

All teaching is adapted to the group in question in terms of both age and starting point.

FOR TEACHERS:

a) Developing ideas for your own teaching (2 hours)

b) Lecture on contemporary dance and film screening (1 hour)
