How long can you hold your breath?

The king of escapes, Harry Houdini, managed to hold his breath for an incredible 3 minutes and thirty seconds. In the new dance performance Houdini – Breakin' out, breakers Andreas and Christopher explore what it means to hold your breath. The piece is inspired by Houdini's life and greatest illusions, recreated and visualized through dance, physical theater and humor. The performance addresses the essence of Houdini's work; his creative drive, the urge to push boundaries and the search for the next big stunt. Will he ever be satisfied, or will he lose his life in the pursuit of greatness?
