A little play about love, hope... and flowers.

If you're a little old man, your name could actually be Oskar Olsson. And if you have somewhere to live, it could be in a small, bare apartment. Without a single flower. That's exactly what Oskar Olsson does. There's an old TV in the living room. Oskar Olsson watches it. Every day and every evening. It takes his mind off the fact that he doesn't have any friends and that life is pretty lonely and boring.

It used to be different when Oskar Olsson was at sea. He got to dance the hula-hula in Tahiti, with a garland of flowers around his neck. Today he only has the TV. But what would happen if the TV exploded one day...?

And the doorbell rang and the florist left a flower...?
