Graceland

Welcome to an integrative anniversary cabaret about Norwegian asylum policy for most people!

The performance throws itself with young and raw power into Norwegian immigration policy. Based in part on conversations with young asylum seekers with no possibility of return, dancer and choreographer Jenny Svensson, performer Jussi Salminen and multi-musician Aleksander Kostopoulos depict a mosaic of situations from personal stories and encounters.

The performance takes a closer look at the task of being a fellow human being in the face of other nationalities, in a country that considers itself a model of democracy. The performance is based on the 200th anniversary of Norway's constitution and such an event must of course be celebrated with dance, show and bubbles in the glass!

The three enter our immigration policy with rebellious energy and a good dose of humor.

Workshops

Can have individual workshops in dance, theater and music. Duration approx. 1 hour, but can be adapted to needs and wishes. It is also possible to run a joint workshop with all expressions. Maximum number per group is 15 students.
