Winner of the Daphne award at the Assitej festival in Kristiansand 2008! A lecture about human evil slips into private confessions and a magical/realistic world opens up. One actor in 4 roles. Facts are mixed with humor and end in an absurd TV show. Sliding transition between research, dream and reality, social psychological experiments and filmed nightmares. Inspired by the novel Unntaket (The Exception) by Christian Jungersen, The Recognition takes up the theme of the language of power in various facets, from a close situation between a few people, to the more global examples that lead to one group of people outright exterminating another. She is an idealist and works at IFMO (Institute for Research on Human Evil) at the University of Oslo. Here she finds that one of her colleagues deliberately harasses and opposes her. "A small workplace with upbeat people turns into a nightmare. In schools, we can imagine tricking students into believing that they are actually going to a lecture on human evil. Eventually they will understand that it is staged, but it can be an interesting wake-up call for them.A solo performance with Kjersti Posti Høgli. Directed by Anne-Sophie Erichsen
