What if you could play a game that changed everything? There's so much going on around you, all you want is to disappear into another world. What would you do?

We meet Mina, who uses her imagination to cope with reality. She is a teenager whose parents are splitting up. How will she cope with her grief and problems? Through a larger than life computer game on stage, Mina plays a game that will help her to make her parents understand that they need to stay married.

"Gamer" is a narrative dance performance about divorce and identity. With hip-hop dance, computer animation, video games and music references that speak directly to the target audience, it engages and moves the story and triggers thoughts in the audience.

The story is told through a fusion of street dance, hip hop, popping, break, waacking and vogue mixed with modern/contemporary dance to specially composed music by the band Philco Fiction.
