A melancholic comedy about old age, with actors who are still alive.

We meet the old lady Agnes at the old people's home where a young nurse is having her first day at work. In this workplace, where time is at a premium, the young person suddenly finds herself face to face with the old woman, who can't walk without support, shakes so badly that her coffee spills out of her cup, and needs help with the most intimate of tasks.

Who is she really, the old lady, and how will she live her old life?

The performance has a slow or "old", almost insistent pace, which challenges you to slow down and understand what it's like to have an old body and all its challenges and frustrations. Where the nurses rush off in their round dance for handkerchiefs, hand sanitizer and gloves, Agnes prefers to dance to her own tune.

Krutt og Kamfer (Gunpowder and Camphor) is a warm, humorous and fragmented story about loneliness, addiction and the cycle of life. Large and small characters, physical theater and a good dose of madness form Agnes' subtle universe.
