This is the story of a magical fairytale forest, a fantastic fairytale forest, the most adventurous fairytale forest in the world! A forest that twinkles and sparkles! But one day, the sinister shadow Shadow steals the heart of the forest: The golden shoes. Without the shoes, the forest dies! Superheroines Snik and Snok, the forest's self-appointed super guardians, take matters into their own hands. Together they embark on a dangerous and demanding mission to save the fairytale forest from certain death. Will they manage to get the golden shoes out of the clutches of the Shadow, so that the forest once again becomes the beautiful fairytale forest it once was? Join us in a fairytale universe with colorful combinations of dance, theatrical characters and film animation. In the battle between good and evil, there are many references to both contemporary life and the fairytale tradition. The characters and situations are recognizable and easy to identify with.After the performance, the performers can meet the audience for a 15-20 minute question and answer session/conversation about the performance.The performance has been on DKS tour in Aust-Agder Nordland, Sogn og Fjordane, Oslo and Finnmark.In the spring of 2010, the performance was on tour in the Middle East where it visited international dance festivals in Beirut, Amman and Ramallah.
