Join us for a warm, beautiful and exciting performance about growing up, freeing yourself, unfolding your wings and flying into life.

In the middle of the night, Nelius sees butterflies for the first time. They fly around his head, and there are a million of them. Nelius doesn't know where all the butterflies come from, but his parents understand."Here we go," they say, and then they give him everything he needs for a long walk.

So begins the story of Nelius the elephant boy who is on a journey to find the answer to where millions of butterflies come from. Throughout his wanderings, Nelius meets a lush gallery of characters who try to help him find the answer. A show about growing up, breaking free and, not least, falling in love.

The performance is explored/produced based on the children's book "A million butterflies" by Edward Van de Vendel.
